TheSilverWand.com has been founded after a lifetime of involvement in the swimming pool and spa industry. We determined there to be a need for water treatment that did not required endless quantities of chemicals to be added to the water. In fact many people are naturally allergic to chlorine and the host of chemicals recommended by most pool and spa shops. For many years we made and manufactured the top selling spa in New Zealand, The Plug in Spa.  Our ethos in that endeavour was to heavily insulate the spa so as to minimise running cost. We sold in the company 2003 and we believe it still to be one of the most energy efficient spa pools on the market.
